AFI Completes Transmission, Finishing New Album


AFI are putting the final touches on their next album, which now carries the title "Crash Love." The group and their producer Joe McGrath recently welcomed winners of the band's "Begin Transmission" contest to Los Angeles' Conway Studios for their contribution. The group watched thousands of fan-made videos and then picked their favorites to join them in the studio lending backing vocals. There were also a number of "honorable mention" winners who received handmade Valentine's Day cards from the group. AFI have announced their first performance of the year, which will take place June 20th at Toronto's Edgefest. The album is due later this year. COLLAPSE
